THE DESIGNER HIRE
The Designer Hire offers express postage Australia wide for a flat rate of $30. This includes your return label and a reusable mailer bag.
Postage Time Frames
When booking a posted hire, please take into consideration postage time frames prior to booking. Refunds are not available once payment has been made.
The Designer Hire is not liable for any delays caused by Australia Post.
All weekend hires are posted express via Australia Post on Monday or Tuesday (depending on how quickly the outfit is ready from the previous customer) unless otherwise arranged.
Orders to major cities generally arrive within 1-2 business days and rural areas take roughly 2-3 business days. This is general advice based on Australia Post timeframes but may be affected by delays such as natural disasters, COVID-19 outbreaks, and/or high-traffic periods, e.g., Christmas, EOFY Sales.
We post from Metro Brisbane (postcode 4102) and estimated shipping timeframes to your area can be found on the Australia Post website. It is the customer's responsibility to check shipping timeframes to their area and advise The Designer Hire of any potential shipping delays.
Postage Information & Instructions
All postal hires are packaged in a reusable postage bag and include a prepaid return postage label.
To reuse the post bag provided, cut along the dotted lines when opening and reseal the bag using the second adhesive strip when you go to return. Then attach the returns postage label provided onto the bag, covering the original postage label.
If you lose or discard the included post bag & return label, you are liable to cover the cost of new return postage.
All posted hires must be lodged at an Australia Post post office by 3pm on the final day of your hire booking. Please ensure you receive a lodgement receipt from the Australia Post staff so you can provide proof of postage if required.
Postal returns are NOT to be lodged in an Australia Post street box. If a garment is posted in a street box without a scanned tracking lodgement or lodgement receipt, the lender is liable for anything that happens to the garment.
Late fees will apply to garments not being posted back on time. Please see the Terms & Conditions page for more information regarding late fees.
